- Gestamp, the Spanish group specialized in the design, development and manufacturing of components for the auto industry, is expanding on the Romanian market by acquiring the main stakes of the Romanian factory whose main client is Renault-Nissan through its subsidiary, Dacia.
- Chinese company, Ningbo HuaXiang Electronic Co Ltd., active in the automotive components manufacturing field, will invest USD30mil in a new production hall in Romania, which will manufacture spare parts and accessories for German Mercedes cars.
